Now Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop through the evening hours across much of the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles. These showers and storms will affect locations mainly along and west of a line from Slapout to Wayside. The storms will be capable of producing hail...strong and gusty winds...and dangerous cloud to ground lightning. Any of the thunderstorms may become strong to severe this afternoon and evening. Rainfall amounts will average between one tenth and one quarter of an inch with locally heavier amounts up to one half inch possible from the stronger storms. Additional showers and thunderstorms will develop across the remainder of the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles through this evening ahead of a dryline as it slowly mixes eastward into the western panhandles. Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible through late this evening. | ||||
