Through 5 PM...showers and thunderstorms will continue developing across the eastern plains and move quickly northeast around 35 mph. Some of these storms will become strong to locally severe as the afternoon progresses. Small hail...very strong and erratic wind gusts...lightning strikes and brief heavy rainfall will be possible with these initial storms. Primary focus will stretch from Santa Rosa to Newkirk...Bell Ranch and Mosquero...as well as along the Texas state line from near Clovis north to Broadview and Nara Visa.
