Through 600 PM EDT...a small cluster of showers will move southwest at 15 mph across western Wilkes County. Very heavy rain can be expected...and the potential for a few cloud to ground lightning strikes is possible. Folks at the W Kerr Scott Reservoir will need to take action by leaving the water...if thunder is heard. Some other communities that could be affected include Maple Springs and Elkville.
