| Synopsis High pressure will continue weaken over the north central Gulf this evening and overnight in response to a weak area of low pressure and weak cold front approaching from the west. Southerly winds and seas will build ahead of this system through early Tuesday morning then become southwest to west and diminish by late Tuesday morning and early Tuesday afternoon. Scattered to numerous showers with a few isolated thunderstorms are expected ahead of this system developing late this evening then moving east of the marine area by late Tuesday morning. Southerly winds and seas will redevelop and build late Wednesday and Wednesday night ahead of a stronger cold front approaching from the northwest. |
