Synopsis
High pressure will continue weaken over the north central Gulf this evening and overnight in response to a weak area of low pressure and weak cold front approaching from the west. Southerly winds and seas will build ahead of this system through early Tuesday morning then become southwest to west and diminish by late Tuesday morning and early Tuesday afternoon. Scattered to numerous showers with a few isolated thunderstorms are expected ahead of this system developing late this evening then moving east of the marine area by late Tuesday morning. Southerly winds and seas will redevelop and build late Wednesday and Wednesday night ahead of a stronger cold front approaching from the northwest.

Tonight
South winds increasing to 20 to 25 knots. Seas building to 5 to 7 feet. Bays and coastal waterways becoming mostly rough. Scattered showers through the night. Numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms developing late.
Tuesday
Southwest winds 20 to 25 knots becoming west 10 to 15 knots early in the afternoon. Seas 5 to 7 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet in the afternoon. Bays and coastal waterways rough becoming a light chop in the afternoon. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms...mostly in the morning.
Tuesday Night
Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southeast after midnight. Seas 1 to 2 feet. Bays and coastal waterways a light chop.
Wednesday
Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots becoming south 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 feet building to 3 to 5 feet in the afternoon. Bays and coastal waterways a light chop becoming choppy to rough in the afternoon. Isolated showers.
Wednesday Night
South winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest overnight. Seas 3 to 5 feet. Bays and coastal waterways choppy to rough. Scattered showers.
Thursday
West winds 15 to 20 knots becoming northwest 10 to 15 knots in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 2 to 3 feet in the afternoon. Bays and coastal waterways choppy to rough becoming a light chop in the afternoon. Numerous showers.
Thursday Night
North winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northeast around 15 knots after midnight. Seas building to 2 to 4 feet. Bays and coastal waterways a light chop becoming choppy overnight.
Friday
Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Bays and coastal waterways a light to moderate chop. Isolated showers early in the afternoon. Scattered showers in the late evening and overnight.
Saturday
Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet bays and coastal waterways choppy to rough. Scattered showers...then isolated showers in the late evening and overnight.
