| Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters Light offshore winds will persist this evening and will shift onshore late in the night. As a result...decreasing seas are forecast tonight through Tuesday. Onshore flow will increase to moderate levels Tuesday afternoon through early Wednesday as another upper level disturbance moves across the Southern Plains. This disturbance will bring a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms to the region. A cold front will move across the coastal waters early Thursday and result in moderate offshore flow. A northeast to north flow will strengthen to moderate to strong levels Friday and Saturday as a coastal trough develops. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected Friday through Saturday is association with the coastal trough and approaching upper level disturbance. |
