A Winter Weather Advisory for snow remains in effect until noon MDT
Saturday.
* Timing... a mix of rain and snow is expected tonight through
Saturday morning. There will be periods of heavy snow... with the
greatest threat of accumulations being during the nighttime
hours. The precipitation is expected to become primarily rain
by Saturday afternoon.
* Snow accumulation... due to the wet nature of the snow...
accumulations may vary... but are generally expected to total
between 4 and 8 inches through Saturday morning.
* Impacts... visibility will be significantly reduced in falling
snow at times... making travel difficult. Heavy wet snow falling
on power lines and trees may result in power outages and tree
damage.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow will cause
travel difficulties. Be prepared for limited visibilities... and
use caution while driving.
