The thickest fog was found in river valleys and other low spots in west central and south central Minnesota...and west central Wisconsin. Motorists are urged to use extra caution when traveling through foggy areas. Visibility could drop off rapidly to less than a few hundred feet. Expect the fog to lift or burn off by 830 am.
