... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from midnight Sunday night
to 4 PM PST Monday...

The National Weather Service in Reno has issued a Winter Weather
Advisory for snow... which is in effect from midnight Sunday night
to 4 PM PST Monday.

* Timing: snow will develop late Sunday evening and continue
through Monday afternoon... with the heaviest snow expected
late Sunday night and Monday morning.

* Snow accumulations: west of Highway 395 and along and south of
Highway 44... 3 to 6 inches. Elsewhere... 1 to 3 inches with
locally higher amounts possible.

* Impacts: travel restrictions likely south and west of Susanville
including Highway 44... Highway 36 over Fredonyer Pass... and
highways 70 and 89. Travel delays will be possible along Highway
395.


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Snow is expected to pose an inconvenience to travelers. Roads
will become slick and hazardous... with snow and ice first developing
on bridges and overpasses. Motorists should slow down... use
caution... and expect travel delays. Check our website at

this situation.
