... Above normal surf expected at the beaches through early Tuesday
morning...
Exposed south to southwest facing beaches can expect surf with Max
sets between 4 and 6 ft at long intervals. This surf is expected
to last through Tuesday morning... peaking this evening through
Monday morning. The highest surf is expected from Ventura to
Hermosa Beach... especially near silverstrand... Zuma... County
line... and Malibu beaches.
This increased surf will also bring a heighten risk of rip
currents. If you are caught in a riptide... do not swim against it.
Instead... swim parallel to shore until you are free of the
powerful current. Always swim and surf near a lifeguard.
