A red flag warning remains in effect until 5 PM PDT Saturday.
The cold front that moved through northern California will affect the
region through Saturday. Primary concerns will be low humidity
values coupled with strong and gusty northerly winds. Sustained
speeds of 20 to 30 mph are expected in the valleys and western
foothills again today with strong gusts up to 45 mph. Strong
winds are expected to continue into Saturday... gradually easing by
Saturday night.
Humidity levels will lower into the single digits to teens today with
poor overnight recovery values. Dry conditions will persist through
Saturday.
Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the
field of this warning.
