The National Weather Service continues to show areas of light snow and sleet moving across parts of extreme northeast Texas... southeast Oklahoma...and southwest Arkansas. This wintry precipitation activity will continue through daybreak...however very little accumulation is being reported. Some snow accumulations are being reported on cars and grassy surfaces...generally less than a half inch. Snow should continue to melt on area roads...but bridges and overpasses will need to be monitored and passed with caution. Temperatures are currently in the lower 30s.

Freezing rain...snow and sleet in the morning...then showers in the afternoon. Ice accumulation of less than one quarter of an inch. Snow amounts up to 1 inch. Cloudy. Highs in the upper 30s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.

Tonight

Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers in the evening...then partly cloudy after midnight. Temperatures nearly steady in the mid 30s. Southeast winds 10 mph becoming northwest after midnight.
