... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Wednesday
morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of central Arkansas and western Arkansas... including
the following areas... in central Arkansas... Yell. In western
Arkansas... Polk and Scott.

* Through Wednesday morning

* showers and thunderstorms will continue to affect the region
through the overnight hours. Additional one to two inches of
rainfall will be common... with locally higher amounts expected.

* Extremely high amounts of moisture... combined with several
rounds of thunderstorms will allow for excessive rainfall and
the potential for high water problems.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Be prepared to take action if a Flash Flood
Warning is issued.
